Studio Policies

By enrolling in a class / playgroup, participating in open studio, or booking a party with Nettie & Ro Creative Studio, you agree to the following:

General Policies

Kindness & Respect
You and your child agree to treat all participants of Nettie & Ro’s art programs with kindness and respect.

Safety

The safety of your child and other children is our top priority. You acknowledge that your child has no physical, emotional, or social conditions that make it dangerous or unwise for your child to safely participate in our art programs.

Materials

We use a wide variety of materials in our art classes. We do our best to monitor all participants, but sometimes accidents happen. You understand that these materials are not meant for consumption and will instruct your child not to consume any materials and to always conduct themselves in a safe manner.

We Get Messy!

You understand that art making can get messy, and you agree to dress your child in clothes and shoes that are appropriate. Smocks will be available for use in the studio as an extra precaution if desired.

Permission to Participate

You give your permission for your child to participate in Nettie & Ro Creative Studio programs. You release and hold Nettie & Ro Creative Studio harmless from any and all liability that may arise in connection with the studio’s art programs.

Permission to Share

During our classes and parties, we sometimes take photographs, video and/or audio (the “Media”) during our art classes to post on our social media. We are the sole owner of any Media and may use the Media in any way, in our sole discretion. You grant us permission to use your child’s image without any restriction and waive your right to inspect or approve the Media.

Stay Updated

By providing my email address, I agree to be added to Nettie & Ro Creative Studio’s participant list and understand that I may receive email notifications from time to time. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Massachusetts.

I have thoroughly read, fully understand and agree to be bound by the terms of these Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions will govern my child’s current and future participation in Nettie & Ro Creative Studio’s art programs and parties.

Covid-19 Policies

With ever-changing safety standards regarding COVID-19, we will be implementing the most up to date safety protocols as recommended by the CDC and will update those enrolled as changes occur.

If you are feeling sick, please refrain from visiting the studio until you are feeling better.

Toddler Playgroup Policies

Age

Toddler Art Playgroup is for toddlers walking to 3 years old.

Masks

Masks are currently optional.

Experience Class With Your Child

Though we encourage toddlers to explore and investigate during Toddler Art Playgroup, please stay with your child during class to support them in their experience.

Cancellation Policies

Full session payment is due at the time of enrollment. Because of the limited capacity and high demand of our classes we do not offer makeups or refunds for missed classes, even if you know you will miss ahead of time. If you have an extenuating circumstance, we will handle each cancellation on a case by case basis.

We Encourage Independence

We love our artists to feel confident creating independently, so all art classes in the studio are drop off. We will have a space for you to hang out during class in the hall right outside the studio, or please feel free to enjoy all that the Tannery has to offer!

Art Show

Please return 5 minutes before the end of class for our Art Show!

Party Policies
By booking a party with Nettie & Ro, you agree to the following:

Final Payment

Final payment is due two weeks prior to party. We will use your card information on file (provided on your Party Contract & Credit Card Authorization Form) for final payment.

Arrival Time

Host family may arrive 20 minutes prior to party start time.

Departure Time

All guests are expected to depart when your party time ends. Host family is allotted 15-20 minutes to gather belongings and head out.

Additional Decor

If you choose to bring any decor, please keep in mind: all items must be pre-assembled (ie: banners pre-strung, centerpieces assembled, florals made etc). We do not allow piñatas, balloon air walkers, confetti or wall decor. Extra decorations are available for purchase from Nettie & Ro – please contact us for more information! No outside vendors or entertainment are permitted, with the exception of photography.

Outside Food

You are welcome to bring your own food. All outside food must follow the guidelines below:

• All food must be nut-free
• All food must be pre-plated and ready to set out and serve (we do not provide bowls, trays, serving utensils or any specialty paper goods or beverages)
• No hot food will be allowed (no burners, hot plates or warmers. Best options are sandwiches, crudites, fruit platters, cheese boards, cake, ice cream, etc.)
• Alcohol and hot beverages are strictly prohibited
• No outside vendors/caterers are permitted

Gratuity

Our staff spends a lot of time preparing for your special event, and works hard to make your time at the studio super fun and memorable! A 20% gratuity is added to all parties.

Drop Off

Drop off for parties is allowed for children 7 years and older (otherwise one grown-up per child must stay).

NO PETS ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO PLEASE!
